As engineers working in critical industrial operations, we experienced the daily frustrations firsthand. We saw technicians searching through filing cabinets for equipment history. We watched preventive maintenance schedules managed on Excel spreadsheets.
We witnessed emergency shutdowns where valuable time was lost because information wasn't available when it mattered most. We spent countless hours preparing reports that should have been generated automatically.
The software available in the market often created another problem. Large enterprise ERP systems were powerful but expensive, difficult to implement, and required months of customization. Smaller tools solved only one part of the workflow.
